Testing out the new Acajoom mailing list application for Joomla. I like the ability to be able to keep in touch with my visitors. But my visitors may only be interested in certain aspects of my site. Allowing them to opt in and out of a list is not only good manners, I'm afraid to just mass mail my message out to a huge list that isn't an optin list for fear that my isp may cancel my service for violating use policies. All this is done to reduce spam and increase our confidence in our systems to deliver the message we're most intested in. |
